Overview
TWISTER SOUND is a replacement audio board for GOTTLIEB SYSTEM-1, SYSTEM-80, 80A or 80B pinball machines. Modern technology, it replaces advantageously obsolete components (such as the 6530 untraceable) while offering unprecedented features:
- Original sounds reproduced identically
- Complete range of pinball machines, including the firsts SYSTEM 80B
- Integrated VU-meter
- Scalable board using low-power circuits
- Simple and unified configuration
- Attract-mode available on all pinballs
Installation
Thanks to its simple and unified connectivity, the board plugs directly into a replacement for the original one. Simply connect the ribbon to the connector for your system: SYSTEM-1 or SYSTEM-80/A/B
Note that only anecdotal use of the "555" mode requires an adapter.
The configuration of the board (choice of the pinball model and the attract-mode) is then, carried out simply by positioning the block of DIP switches.
