NVRAM ADAPT
Solution to replace
5101 memories
Universal compatibility
Introduction
5101 memories are components that were widely used in the 80s, to save important pinball data (scores, credits, etc.)
They are found on almost all CPU boards from different manufacturers (Bally, Gottlieb, etc.).
These obsolete components are unfortunately quite fragile and age quite badly. It is common for them to break down, but their replacement has become very problematic because of their scarcity.
Solution
We have developed our own adapter to use a classic SRAM memory instead of the 5101. This one is simply installed instead of this component, the installation only takes a few seconds.
This adapter, although using a memory in a DIP package, is of an ultra-compact format. It takes up less space than the solutions offered elsewhere and using CMS package!
And unlike the majority of these products, our solution works on both BALLY and GOTTLIEB systems.
